I am really looking forward to beginning the class CSC 100 with Omar Johnson. I had quite a bit of experience using such programs as Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Word throughout High School. I hope to be able to use the skills that I learned and apply them to the more advanced lessons that I will be learning. I am very excited to create my own web-page. The more knowledge I gain on computers, the more facinated I am with them. I will definatly tie computers into my career.
Now that I have completed the course CSC 100, I feel that I am well prepaired to go into the work force and be able to present my skills in a knowledgeable fashion. I really enjoyed working with the program Powerpoint and designing my own presentations. I learned many ways to animate and make the show more "audience friendly." We learned not to have too many "tricks" because it could take away from your presentation and lose the audiences focus. I also feel more confortable when I am given an assignment and told to post it on the internet. I am very familiar with the process of going into FrontPage and Ws_Ftp in order to post my work.
